Job Description:
Responsible for planning, organizing and creating Operator’s manuals, Owner’s Manuals and Documentation Set
Timely completion of all assignments relating to technical documentation
Establishing and maintaining high quality of submitted work, as per defined documentation standards and best practices in technical writing and technical illustrations
Prepares document schedules/develops documentation plan for projects and maintains records
Prepares illustrations for technical documentation using current methods and tools
Proactive approach to questioning technical team and managers to clarify technical issues
Setting up document standards, styles and formats, etc.
Ensure that documents are technically accurate, user-focused, and free from errors by applying group processes, procedures, and standards
Desired Profile:
Good Technical background and Excellent written and spoken English
Should have strong Technical writing and Illustration experience: 0 – 2 yrs. Preferably in Heavy Machinery Industries, Automobile Industry and Aircraft Industry
Accurate way of working, Initiative and good team work skills
Ability to work and communicate effectively with a globally-distributed team.
Familiar with illustration tools (Corel Designer, Adobe Illustrator, Tech Illustrator, IsoDraw)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Need to understand the Parts and Create Technical Illustrations
